Hang gliders and para gliders of course make use of the mountains, and for those with no budget, how about a hydroplane to move around the lake. No queues! At Lake Como, you'll eat magnificently whether in a Michelin starred restaurant or a simple trattoria, and you'll have the best possible ingredients for dinner at your Lake Como rentals. The nearest wine-growing area is the Valtellina, specialising in the Nebbiolo variety, and it produces wonderful cheeses too. Access is easy via the Milan airports, the difficult question is just whether you'll make use of your return ticket. |
